Dear Oldfields Parents,

Thank you for your continued effort to support The Parent Association.  The students have returned from holiday break and are working hard to complete the second trimester.  Winter is upon us and The Parent Association is also hard at work planning for upcoming events.

Our focus remains to support our girls through the school year and continue to promote a “home away from home” experience in addition to their learning at Oldfields.  Any help you may provide would be so greatly appreciated.

• Additional Oldfields Ornaments (depicting Old House in the spring) have been ordered for anyone who missed the original sale.  They are $ 20.00 and if you require shipping, $ 5.00 additional.
• An Oldfields Ornament Series is now underway and a new selection coming soon!!
• PLEASE send in your recipes for the Oldfields Cookbook.  Be sure to include your name, your daughter’s name and year of graduation.  Send as many as you would like.
• Register on http://www.onecause.com/ for all internet shopping.  Make sure you designate Oldfields School as the recipient of any money you earn.  Please use this when booking your daughter’s flight for the end of school.
• Apply for a Target Visa and choose Oldfields as your beneficiary.
• Unfortunately, the Oldfields Walk will not occur this year.  Please contact Lisa Parks to discuss if necessary.

Please go to http://www.greatschools.net/ and rate your daughter’s Oldfields experience.  This is a wonderful and easy way to promote our School.

The next Parent Association Meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 1, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in Miss Nan’s Library.  Please note the 6:00 p.m. start time so that parents may attend while picking up their daughters from school.
