Growing up in Baltimore County, Carrie fell in love with riding at just 13 years old. She began riding in local hunter shows before attending Virginia Intermont College where she focused on equine studies. While attending, she was a proud member of the VIC IHSA team. After college, Carrie followed her family to Tennessee where she continued to ride and show. After moving back to Maryland, she immersed herself in the local riding community and has spent many weekends showing in Baltimore County Horse Shows Association competitions to further her quest to qualify for U. S. Equestrian Hunter Seat Medal Finals. An all-around horse person, Carrie finds great joy in supporting and cheering on riding students as they pursue their goals on and off the horses. She loves both participating in and observing horse shows, and when she’s not around the barn, Carrie loves to spend quality time with her horse, Harvey, and her cats.
