Six excited students, Lucy'20, Rebekah Turner '20, Vivian Love '20, Juniper Moon '22, Milla Du '22 and Sophie '20 participated in Johns Hopkins' Model United Nations conference in Baltimore. This four-day conference gave them fantastic opportunities to be delegates in committees such as the British House of Commons, the United Nations Refugee Agency, the International Monetary Fund and even a re-creation of the Senate debate of the 1918 Versailles Treaty and League of Nations. Our girls enthusiastically delved into their respective assignments, often speaking and debating within their committees about their stance on current issues and being part of creating resolutions to solve some
very complex situations. Even more extraordinary--one conference wasn't enough! They are attending the Washington, DC, Model UN at Georgetown University next week!
