Get your Technician Class Amateur Radio License!

Campers will learn the essential material needed to pass the Technician License Amateur Radio exam. At the end of the week, they’ll have the opportunity to take the test and those who pass will earn their Technician Class Amateur Radio license.

Throughout the week, campers will get hands-on experience with amateur radio handhelds for communication on UHF/VHF frequencies. They'll have the chance to connect with other amateur radio operators around the world using HF radio equipment. In addition, they'll explore antenna design and build their own antennas to participate in a hidden transmitter hunt.

Campers will need to bring their lunch with the exception of a celebratory pizza party on the final day.
